be proactive and have my older vehicle’s timing belt changed. I had it done at Niagara Motors. And I can’t say enough about this place! I was treated like a VIP!! And I must admit, sometimes as a woman it can feel a bit intimidating taking a vehicle anywhere for service. Happily, this was not the case here!
At first I was a bit apprehensive about calling NM for an estimate, as I have had bad experiences with both of the Cullens’ and Bear. But my friend swears by these guys. And she was right. Steve Roy in service, and Mark, the service manager, were the gentlemen that I dealt with.
On the day of service, I took advantage of their shuttle ride home and back to pick up my truck. Unfortunately though, there was an annoying vibration in the steering wheel. So back into the shop it went. The guys wanted to make sure it wasn’t from the new timing belt. And to ensure I wasn’t inconvenienced, they gave me a brand new loaner car to use. It took a few days but the super sleuths at NM figured out the problem and solved it with a simple injection flush. They really went above and beyond to identify and solve it. Now it runs like a top!
The final bill was a couple hundred less than the other garages had quoted. The work was professionally done and they didn’t once try and oversell me or pad the bill. And the icing on the cake is I have NEVER been treated so well at ANY mechanic’s shop!! It was a very positive experience. He let me know that there was a contest and I could win cash so I thought why not! Had a great time in the vehicle, he was very talkative and knew all the features of the car and it was a lot of fun! If I remember correctly his name was Shane Eaton. Great guy! Looking forward to buying my next vehicle from him at Niagara Motors.
